Join us for an in-person tour of the AWS Skills Center and explore all the cool tech up close!
The AWS Skills Center offers an engaging, accessible entry point into cloud computing and AI - making it a valuable resource for organizations supporting workforce development and digital equity. During this session, leaders and practitioners will gain insight into common entry-level roles across the cloud ecosystem, including both technical and non-technical pathways. The experience highlights key competencies, qualifications, and certifications aligned to these roles, using industry-standard frameworks that apply broadly beyond AWS.
Participants will also have the opportunity to explore interactive AI exhibits, providing a hands-on understanding of emerging technologies. This free, community-centered resource is designed to help organizations better guide their clients and communities toward in-demand career pathways in the digital economy.
PARKING INFO:
The Skills Center Building (1007 Stewart) is part of the Midtown 21 building/Amazon Oscar which has a parking garage. The entrance to the garage is located in the alleyway between Terry Ave. and Boren Ave. You will be directed to pull an access ticket at the garage entrance. There is also paid street parking around the area as well which is usually less costly and easier for larger vehicles but it’s all first come, first served so would plan extra time.
